brief quarter-by-quarter outline below.
 
First Quarter: 1900 - end of World War I; Foundations of American Government

Second Quarter: The Twenties and Thirties; Branches of Gov. and our Liberties

Third Quarter: World War II to the Sixties; Participating in Government

Fourth Quarter: The Seventies to present;
State & Local Government

Course Syllabus Class Objectives:
Sophomore students will gain an increased 
understanding of the growing role of the
United States in world affairs. They will also
analyze various governments around the world and determine which one supports
personal freedoms in the most positive way.
